Vinometer Meter

Description

An instrument for determining approximate strength of wine by measuring its density. A small amount of wine is added to the vinometer and allowed to settle to the bottom. The vinometer is then inverted and some wine will drain out. Some stays behind in the tube and an alcohol percentage can be read on the vinometer's scale. Alcohol test range: 0-25%. The vinometer is calibrated for tests at 68 F (20 C).
