This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a photograph of mountains and sunrise reflected in a pond. Born and raised on the Oregon Coast where his love for beautiful landscapes began. In 1999 Darren moved to Portland Oregon and soon fell in love with the mountains and Columbia River Gorge areas. In July of 2013 Darren made a huge move to Littleton, Colorado where he quickly fell in love with the majestic mountains Colorado has to offer and the outdoor life Colorado is known for. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame.
