This popular Eiffel Tower spoon is part of a small selection of 4 absinthe spoons originally made for the introduction of the Eiffel Tower at the Exposition Universelle, the World's Fair held in Paris, France in 1889. The year was also the 100th anniversary of the storming of the Bastille, which began the French Revolution. The original antique spoon design is highly sought after. This is an exact reproduction of that late 19th century absinthe spoon.
